Terms of service

By using or paying for Nullo, you agree to these terms. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on nullo.app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you disagree with an update, stop using the service before it applies. See our Privacy policy for how we handle data.

The service

Nullo lets you share text through end-to-end encrypted links. Your message is encrypted on your device before it is sent to us. The decryption key stays in the link fragment, which browsers never transmit to our servers, so we cannot read your plaintext or recover your keys.

We store only opaque ciphertext plus expiry and view-count metadata until the secret is deleted automatically. Recipients decrypt in their browser; no account is required to read a link.

We do not inspect, modify, or inject content in your encrypted payloads. You are responsible for what you share and for complying with applicable law.

Eligibility

Nullo is not directed at children under 16. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

Access to the service

To create encrypted links with the Nullo app, you need a 16-digit account number. We do not ask for your name, email address, or password. The account number is the only credential. Store it safely, because we cannot recover a lost number.

Access is sold as prepaid time. The current price is $20.00/year. Additional payments stack on any time you already have. One account is for your own use; you may not resell access or run a competing encrypted link-sharing service built primarily on Nullo.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nullo to:

• Break the law or help others do so.
• Upload malware, spam, or content intended to harm systems or people.
• Probe, flood, or otherwise disrupt our infrastructure.
• Automate account creation or abuse rate limits and proof-of-work checks.

We may suspend or terminate access that threatens the service, other users, or our ability to operate it. Prepaid time is not refunded when access is suspended or terminated for abuse.

Payment

We accept card payments through Stripe and, when enabled, cryptocurrency through BTCPay Server. The price shown at checkout applies. Time is added to your account when payment is confirmed.

Refunds and complaints

Card payments qualify for a 7-day money-back guarantee starting when the payment succeeds. To request a refund, email [email protected] with the payment date, amount, and last four digits of the card so we can locate the charge. Do not include your account number in the message; it is your only credential and email is not a secure channel for it.

We do not offer refunds for cryptocurrency payments because they cannot be reversed on-chain. After the guarantee period, remaining prepaid time may be refunded only in exceptional cases at our discretion.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from your account page. Secrets you already uploaded remain until they expire on their own schedule. Payment records are removed from our database when the account is deleted; card payment records are otherwise deleted automatically after the 7-day refund period.

Privacy

We designed Nullo to minimize the data we hold. We do not log message content, decryption keys, or recipient activity tied to an identity. Details are in our Privacy policy.

Disclaimers

We may update the apps, website, or backend to introduce new features or improve security and reliability. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every link will remain accessible until its expiry. You use Nullo at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nullo. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
